研究方向:超快激光技术,高功率超快碟片激光技术

超快激光技术是当前激光领域的前沿热点研究方向。超快激光不仅是物理、化学以及生命科学等基础科学研究的重要工具,在高端制造、信息传输存储、环境检测以及国防安全等领域都有着极为广泛且重要的应用。课题组致力于开发新型固体超快激光器,通过研究新型工作物质,新型谐振腔设计以及新的超快工作机理,使超快激光具有更高的功率、更短的脉冲宽度以及新的波长范围;在高功率激光器方面,课题组基于碟片技术开发新一代的大功率超快激光光源。作为目前世界主流的三种高功率激光技术之一,碟片激光器由于采用大而薄(厚度100微米左右)的碟片晶体作为增益介质,具有非线性低、功率及能量放大性好、损伤阈值高等特点,非常适合产生大能量、高峰值功率的超快激光。课题组致力于掌握超快碟片激光器的核心技术,推动国产高功率超快碟片激光器的发展;同时,超快激光技术特别是高功率碟片激光技术的发展将会极大地促进应用领域的扩展。课题组将利用这些前沿激光技术的性能优势,探索其所带来的各种新的应用。
